I have therefore run an import (without the attachments).
However, only the “sample page” gets imported. Can you please advise?
I have tried this with the One Page and Default demo.

Sorry, just to update – I’ve now tried 3 different themes and they all fail at 95% of import
This is becoming very frustrating to say the least and would really appreciate some help to finally get my site moving!
I have now created a local WordPress install on my PC and still having issues importing dummy data / attachments.
Still keeps timing out at 65%!
Is there any other way to obtain this dummy data with attachments? Could you not provide an FTP link for the necessary files?

I have since spoken to my host (GoDaddy) and they have set the following settings:
Memory Time = 256 Execution Time = 500 Post Max Size = 128
They advise that these should be more than sufficient to get the import completed however it is still hanging at 65% !

I had already increased memory size in wp-config to 128Mb
I will request my hosting company increase to the execution time limt. Can you please advise what figure I should advise them to increase this too?
