You must have made some mistake while editing the files. Replace the changed files with new unedited ones(download a new copy of theme files from your Envato account) and replace the changed files. Then check carefully for the string “Read more” only and edit it.

There is no way for the theme to change it’s functionality without an outer change. I can not just guess what made your site change behavior. You need to tell us more details so we can help.
What changes did you make to theme files lately? Did you install/remove any third party plugin? Did you do any theme/plugin updates?
Make sure to have selected categories to display in portfolio page options.
You can move the logo position using custom css. Add the code into your custom css box.

All the included plugins, Visual Composer too, have extended licenses. This means they can be used by any one purchasing our theme as long as they use the version included in theme folder. You can not update it on your own terms with this type of licence.
The rules of the marketplace doesn’t allow us to give the plugin activation code. You can use the existing version without any problem. We update frequently all theme plugins to their latest versions in every theme release or in case when an urgent update is needed. So they are always fully compatible with the current theme version.
If you want to buy a license by yourself this is allowed, but we thought that this isn’t needed because the version included works perfectly.
