Yes, that is what I have already done but when I view the page on the web it comes up as Blog instead of my chosen page name. Having read your comment I’m not sure what you mean by ‘page template options’. I set my chosen page as the posts page at ‘Settings – Reading’. Is there something else I need to set as well?
Ok I now managed to fix the telephone icon size – I forgot that I had some custom code on my home page that affected the icon. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
I just found out how to change the colour of the three icons. However, I noticed that the telephone icon is a smaller size compared to the same icon on all other pages. Why would this be? I can’t see any way of fixing this.
That looks great thanks. On my site the three icons are not all the same colour – how do I make them all have the same dark blue like the middle (Telephone Number) icon has?
Also, I would like to change the text of the first item from ‘Locations’ to ‘Address’ – how can I do this please?
I backed up the themes folder and ran the auto update using Envato Market plugin but unfortunately it completely broke my website and left hardly anything to see. I’ve now recovered my website by removing the new Specular theme and re-uploading the backed up copy from the themes folder backup.
Can you recommend another way I can safely upgrade to the latest version please?
I made this change on the actual home page by adding the code to the page settings (orange cog icon) section. It has worked. Was this the best way to do this?
I tried changing those values but unfortunately they did not help. The gap between the main title ‘TARMAC DRIVE SERVICES IN SUFFOLK’ and the first text block is still the same.
Ok. Should I then add ‘Specular Widget Top Navigation’ to ‘Header Widgetized Area’? I tried that and there was no option for social widget / icon. I tried it and selected to activate ‘search’ and does not look right, overlapping the base of the menu.
Thank you for doing that. Out of interest, what were the syntax errors? When I got your email with the code to add I just copied and pasted so thought it would be ok like that. Would be handy to know what I did wrong.
