    Hello,

thanks for the update and fixing the URL issue.

Suddenly there is more and more this error message:

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘content’ in /homepages/20/d68334965/htdocs/clickandbuilds/HighVintage/wp-content/plugins/codeless-builder/include/core/cl-page-builder.php on line 389 (see also screenshot: https://ibb.co/iooSPH).

What’s the meaning of this? Because of this error message, the header menu is no longer visible when editing with the Page Builder.

I would urgently need the option categories and subcategories. I can’t find any subcategories in the “Shop element” option. With the option “Shop page” the categories still do not work.

I discovered your theme “June” by chance. I have the impression that this is further developed and perhaps works better. I like “Folie” better regarding look and feel, but maybe it would make sense to switch to “June” and then adjust the appearance of “Folie” accordingly.

    What do you think?

    Best regards!

    Hello,

    thanks for the update.

Can you please let me know when the update is available? In the meantime, I simply increase the number of products per page and set to “Infinite scroll”.

I have another problem with a link: On the homepage (landing page) you can find the chapter “Collection 2017” at your DEMO. I would like to link the individual sections (e.g. “LEATHER BAGS”) with the page “SHOP ONLINE”. But if I enter the URL “https://development.highvintage.com/shop-online” in the Page Builder under “Column Link”, this link is ignored and the URL “https://development.highvintage.com” is always executed by default – so you always stay on the homepage.

What am I doing wrong? Or is that just a little bug?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Best regards!

    Hello,

    thanks for the update.

    OK, got it:

Only use either ‘shop element’ of Codeless builder by not assigning it as shop in Woocommerce plugin options  or the ‘Shop page’ by assigning a page as shop in Woocommerce plugin options.

But there are still the problems I’ve tried to describe several times:

    a) ‘Shop element’ of Codeless builder: Everything is just fine (design and categories), but the ‘Shop pagination style’ is not working. You can only see the products I have set per page (9 pieces), but not all the others. No matter if I choose “With page numbers” or “Infinite scroll”.

    b) ‘Shop page’: Design (margin) and number of times (9 per page) is good now. But the Categorize option doesn’t work at all (see screenshot: https://ibb.co/htaQcS).

I really need your help, we have to go online by now. I prefer the option  ‘Shop element’ of Codeless builder. In your message of April 14th you announced an update for this option. When can we expect that? With a request for a realistic and honest answer.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards!

    Hello,

    thanks for the update.

The only thing that has changed is that the “page default layout” option now shows the left and right margins and 9 products per page. The categories are still not working.

If I use the “shop element” option, the products are still displayed twice: Once in the shop element (9 products) and once below also 9 products with the “page default layout” with.

What do you want to do now? We are now extremely behind schedule and blocked because it makes no sense to further adapt the theme “folie” to our needs if the most important area – THE SHOP – does not work.

Until when can you solve the problems? When can we expect a functioning shop with the “shop element” option?

I ask for an honest answer. If the problem cannot be solved, I would have to look around for another solution and start again from scratch. I am now quite desperate )-:

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards!

    Hello,

thanks a lot for the update.

I don’t know how I could be more specific: When I’m using for the shop the option “page default layout” (how the developer did), I cannot set the number of items, only the number of columns. By default the shop displays obviously 8 items (just have a look: https://development.highvintage.com/shop-online) and and distributes them horizontally only evenly – 2, 4, etc. depending on the number of columns. I want to have 3 columns and what I get is 3 items in a 1st row, 3 items in a 2nd row and 2 items in a 3rd row, which looks pretty bad. HOW CAN I HAVE AN INFLUENCE ON THE NUMBER OF ITEMS by NOT using the option “adding a shop element”. When I’m using the option “shop element” I can set the number of products, but then there or no PAGE NUMBERS anymore and not all items/products are display.

Back to the option “page default layout”: When I want to show the categories only strange graphics are shown (here the link to the screenshot: https://ibb.co/htaQcS). And again: The categories are shown perfectly with the option “adding a shop element”, but as described above, this option does not display all products of the shop, but only one page depending on the adjusted number of the products per page.

We have to start with our shop now. Please let me know until when do you think you can solve the current problems.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards!

    Correction:

I’m beginning to get the feeling that the shop in the theme “folie” theme doesn’t really work.

    Hello,

    thanks for the update.

So far so good, but there are still some problems:

I see that the developer has removed the first row in the shop and only uses the custom shop layout. In contrast to the shop element, I can’t set the number of items, but only the number of columns. I only want 3 columns, but of course with 3 items per row – currently there are 3 columns with 8 items, in the third row there are only 2 items, and that doesn’t look really good.

And there is a problem with the categories: When I activate them, only a strange graphic appears (see appendix).

I would basically prefer to work with one shop element in a row, everything can be set there, even the categories work here, but unfortunately not all products are displayed, but only 1 page with the number of products that I set per page, all other products are not visible.

    What to do?

I’m beginning to get the feeling that the shop theme in the “Slide” theme doesn’t really work.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Best regards!

    P.S.

    Hello,

    thanks for your reply.

I understand the options I have and I understand what I need to set. What I still don’t understand is how to get a shop page with the DEMO shop’s beautiful header (the headline “Shop online” and a picture in the background with the parallax effect) and the products in three columns with a distance of left and right (container version) and page numbers, but NOT together with all the products a second time (fullwidth).

If I don’t link a page in the plugin “WooCommerce”, I get the products as I want them with a border left and right, but unfortunately no page numbers (I only see the number of products I set – number of products per page – but all the others not. When I link the page, I get the products twice )-:

I’m getting a little nervous now because we want to launch our shop soon. What can I do?

Thanks a lot and best regards!

    Hello,

    I’ve done it.

You’ll find the relevant website in the folder „clickandbuilds // HighVintage“ – please don’t touch the folder „wordpress“ – therein lies another website of us.

    Thanks and best regards!

    Hello,

    many thanks for your reply.

After making a few adjustments to the demo content for our future website, I have a basic understanding problem: I connected the page “Shop” in the WooCommerce plugin, see all demo products and a product I created, but it seems as if the layout / design of the demo page “Shop online” is ignored, specifically: How do I get the same distance of the images from the left and right margin? How can I set the number of products per page (currently 2 x 3 and 1 x 2 products appear, but I would like either 2 x 3 or 3 x 3 products per page). When I connect the demo page “Shop online”, 2 x 3 products appear with the correct distances to the left and right side, but additional products also appear without distances to the margins – that makes no sense).

Here the link to our website: https://development.highvintage.com/

And the link to the shop: https://development.highvintage.com/shop

Thanks for your help in advance!
