Well this is not a bug but if it shows that list based on keyword it will be awesome. So, we are checking in to it and may be we can add this in coming update.
Yes its possible. If you edit your post you will see Sliders Options under General Settings, chose your desired slider and other relevant options. Save your post and that’s it.

Height for both pages is equal the only issue is in second page you don’t have subtitle enabled. If you want to clarify simply edit your page and add your own subtitle by going to SUbtitle for this? setting and set it to On and provide your subtitle and save your page then both your pages will be of same look.
As you are trying to change the version of font-awesome which may not be compatible with the theme as our theme is using version 4. That may be the reason your fonts are not showing up.
