Hi,
It’s okay you can customize the child theme freely.
At first, there was a glitch in the parent theme that was removed in the June theme update 2.1.
Now after activating the child theme I selected the default values (that were selected when we import the theme). Like header style, logo, Menu, etc.

If you face any problem Please let me know, I’ll help you out.

You can edit Page default header from:
wp-admin > Tower > Header Options > Default Page Header > Page header style
wp-admin > Tower > Header Options > Default Page Header > Breadcrumbs Style

If this doesn’t change the page header the please edit page:
Edit Page > General Settings > Page header style
Edit Page > General Settings > Breadcrubms Style
