Hi, have the same problem, but no matter what I do, I cant import the Theme with dummy data neither cant I import dummydata from the Import section. Didnt they manage to help you Szonja?
I have asked them, but they just said I should use the import starter sites, but that dosent work, and also the documenation is old, so I cant follow this.
It seems that the import is broken somehow, because other things like the menu dosent show up in admin like its supposed to the right way, functions is missing in the general options menu and so on.
Did you managed to get you site going with all demo data Szonja?
Hi again, also, the documentation, dosent add up with th actual version of the theme.
So its impossible to follow the guide, when its not current.
Its says that the dummydata for sliders are imported, when importing the theme dummy data, but that isent happening either when importing the theme demo.
The documentation is for version 1.2 of the theme, but the theme is for 1.4 with is a much different setup.
So I really think, that I have bought something that dotn work. Its not easy to figure out, whar to do, when nothing is the same. Im very dissapointed about this, Im afraid.
Hi, BTW, do I have to Connect with “slider-teplates.com”, then import the sliders for the right Template, so its shown on frontend?
Because If I use the Import function, nothing happens, no import is done with the import button.
I think the main reason for the demo, is that the sliders dont show up.
Hi, corrrect, but If I do that, using the import page for templates the demos dosent show up opn my site, as in the demos I have watched before I bought the Theme.
So the main reason why I bought the Theme, was that I could import a setup, to get me started.
I have imported “SEO” and have also tried with “Business 4”, but settings like widgets placement and sliders, dosent show up. in fact the Widgets are places as inactive widgets, when its imported, and no Widgets are shown in the right places.
I have to guess where to put the right stuff, so I dont think this is easy and Im feeling a little bit cheat here. I have a lot of Templates, that I have bought from Themeforest, but never have I had to set all the settings my selv, and guess…. :)
