OK, I’ve worked a little further on this matter and deduced that the real issue is that if the top post is a gallery post with a gallery carousel slider added in, it shows up at the top of the overall blog page – almost like it bleeds through.
Hi imsam67 – I was able to do this at http://www.StartupStir.com by changing the publish date on the slides. The more recent the date, the earlier it shows up in the order.
So, for example, we just set the dates as follows –
1st Slide we want to show up – May 1, 2015
2nd Slide we want to show up – April 1, 2015
3rd Slide we want to show up – March 1, 2015
Any date is fine, just note that chronology dictates slide order.
