We are experiencing the same problem with “Handel”.
We assumed the issues arises from the Kirki Customizer Framework that built the “Handel” theme which is not compatible with the latest WordPress version.
By the way, we had tried to installed the WP previous version, but still doesn’t work.
We need to have a progress with this project and would appreciate your further advice how to get this fixed.
