This was more of a request for information than a fix for a problem. I confirmed that I could use a different player, but I now need information on how to change the size of the new player when it’s displayed on the home screen.
I wasn’t aware you also did customization. I don’t remember noticing any mention of that when I purchased the license.
With that said, I wasn’t looking for anything outside the support agreement I was asking if there was any guidance possibly in the documentation offered that would allow me to understand the installed components of demo #1 as opposed to me having to go through every item at the time to figure out its purpose and whether I need it which is what I will do. My review of this theme will pretty much come down to what components I ended up using and how long it took me to figure it all out.
Thanks, my intention isn’t to change anything, it’s more to understand why something happened or didn’t happen. In this particular case, it was an image not displaying because it wasn’t available. It somehow got deleted and restoring just the image didn’t help.
So far the lesson I’m learning with this theme is to always make a backup in case something goes wrong. That’s not a problem for my live site but it is for the local version of my site where I make all my major customization changes.
Can that widget be modified? I was able to fix my broken image problem by restoring my site from backup but it would have been more helpful if I could have gone into the code and fix the problem that way.
What worries me about my last problem is I feel like every time I go to create a new podcast episode page, I’m discovering something new about the theme causing me to waste time understanding the theme when I need to simply create an entry for a new episode.
I had the designer also look into the problem and it seems he might have figured it out. This now brings me to new questions though:
1) Is there documentation for the Livecast theme? Specifically for the settings that that show up on the Podcast Episode page.
2) What is the difference between creating a podcast page by choosing on the left dashboard menu Posts->Add New and left dashboard menu->Podcast Episodes->Add New? I think I’m just a little unclear about the “Podcast Episodes” portion and its configuration.
I did do that but after step 4, I got an error message about No Slides found. I figured out the problem but I was hoping to see how you configured the Slider Revolution plugin.
My problem is getting the imported demo working on my site isn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be. My initial plan was to get the demo working and then replace the sample content with my own.
