It seems as though when I select the background position of the background image in the backend (Center Top, Center Center, Center bottom, etc.) for different “header section backgrounds”, and update the page— that the page doesn’t actually take that change. The image position displays differently for a second, but always seems to revert back to its original position no matter the selection in the backend. Any idea why? And how do I fix this?
Due to the parallax effect (the image needs to be bigger for it to scroll), the background position is fixed to top. You have to remove parallax, to make the position change to your wish.
What pixel dimensions do you recommend for these parallax images? I’m just trying to get a specific part of an image to appear in “frame” when the parallax section is at the top of the page. So really just trying to position the image within the container so the correct part appears when I want it too.
The bigger the resolution, the better. But i can not tell exactly what pixel dimension should be your image in order to display the part of the image you want to show. Try out different sizes until you have the result you want.
