Import Dummy Data fails everytime

  I purchased this theme in November, and I have never been able to successfully import the dummy data. It will usually begin importing, but a short time later it will abruptly stop moving the progress bar. I have re-installed WordPress dozens of times in an attempt to fix, but I get the same stalled progress bar every single time. I have read several threads from users experiencing a similar issue. Please advise.
  
  Also, it might be helpful to build some type of debug/verbose mode to better determine where/why this is happening.

  Please be sure you have the latest theme version, install it if you don’t have the latest update.
  It it still doesn’t succeed please give us your wp credentials in a private rely, so we can check it and install the dummy data for you.

    I am completely sure I have the latest theme and wordpress installed, as I have from the very beginning. I don’t feel comfortable providing my credentials to you to import the dummy data, as fundamentally I should be able to do this myself. I see there are other users with the same issue, could you please debug and provide an actual fix? I have installed countless other themeforest themes without issue. Please advise.

  Sometimes the progress bar of import stacks t 65% but the dummy data are installed.
  If they are not, a reason maybe you don’t have the required access on themes files, or you must change time limit on your server.

  Just an update. I just updated Specular to v1.2.4 and it finally successfully imported! Looking at the changelog for v1.2.4 I see “Fixed: Import Process JS”. Thank you, hopefully this resolves the issue. I’ll continue to use it and report back in a few days if I encounter any other problems.

  I may have spoke too soon. When I uncheck “Check to import attachments” the import seems to work fine, but when I check “Check to import attachments” it stops the progress bar at 65%. Thoughts?

  So when I uncheck “Check to import attachments” and it looks like it completes the dummy import, the stylesheets do not import correctly. I am beyond frustrated at this time. I’ve owned this theme since November, and it’s still broken. I’ve spent $60 and countless hours trying to get my site to vaguely resemble the one sold to me without success. At this point you leave me no choice but to abandon it completely. If I could leave 0/5 on themeforest I will. Cheers.

  We have fixed the issue of dummy data import.
  Please download the latest theme version (it was released yesterday).
  
  Where have you hosted your website?
  If you install the latest theme version and you still are having problems, we can install it for you.

  Please make sure you have enough memory limit. You can increase it your self by editing wp-config.php file or ask your hosting provider to do it for you.
  Also make sure to be importing the right file. You should unzip themeforest-11941335-tower-businessdriven-multipurpose-wp-theme-wordpress-theme.zip and upload only the ‘tower’ folder into your themes folder.

  Have you checked your memory limit? Please make sure you have enough memory limit. You can increase it your self by editing wp-config.php file or ask your hosting provider to do it for you.
  If the issue persists, then open up a new ticket in Tower support forum and send us your wp credentials in a private reply. So we can give it a closer look.
