I have made use of the Specular theme on our website for several months now with only minimal issues but an issue in which I have encountered today is that the CSS, of the theme, is not being applied at all whilst the Visual Composer plugin is active. As the entire site has been designed with Visual Composer, it is paramount to have this working again.
When I disable and remove the plugin, clear the cache and history from any browser and then visit our website again, the CSS of the theme is applied which is what makes me think that Visual Composer is causing the issue because as soon as I install VC again, the CSS does not get applied – I noticed that there is an update to Visual Composer (version 2.9.2) whereas the current version installed is 2.9.1
I have now fixed this on my own – completely removed VC from the website; cleared all data and cache from Chrome & Firefox; enabled JetPack; went into Appearance > Install Plugins and installed Visual Composer from there – all appears to be working now
