Hi there,
I seem to be having a new issue with white spacing below the codeless slider header and inbetween the call-to-action tab and the footer of the homepage on my website.
This news spacing appeared a few week ago, and I thought it was just a visual glitch that would correct itself, however, it’s still there and after checking settings, I cant see how/where to get rid of it.

Thanks!

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply!
Please add this code into your custom css box:#content { padding-top: 0 !important; padding-bottom: 0 !important; margin-bottom: -90px !important; }
Best regards!

Thanks Mihaila, that worked perfectly.
May I ask one more question please, on a page like this one: https://www.advent-im.co.uk.gridhosted.co.uk/about-us-2/certifications_memberships/ – I’d like to make the bullet points on pages a certain colour (#c12d23) within some of the content, but only the bullet points – is this possible? If so, can I do it via code on the page, or does it have to be custom css or in the code section of wordpress?
Thanks again,
Simon

Hello,
Sorry but this is not possible to do with theme styling options, because you want it only for this one specific element. But also not from custom css code either.
Best regards!

Thank you for your reply Mihaila. That’s all the help I need for now.

Hi Mihaila,
As this thread is not closed down yet, I thought I’d post here to save making a new thread.
I’m having an issue with my blog page. I’ve just checked all of the settings I can find (for example, blog page options, Tower general options, Tower blog option) , but I can’t seem to get any of the blog content to actually appear on the blog page of the website.
In short, I’ve imported blog content from a wordpress.com blog – and that has all imported fine and is displaying in the ‘posts’ section of the WordPress dashboard. I’m trying to use the timeline blog template featured here: https://codeless.co/tower/default/blog-timeline/ but I cant figure out what I’m doing wrong as no content is displaying – and neither is the template…
Can you advise at all please?

Hello,
Please make sure to have set up blog page in Settings > Reading. If the issue persists, send us your wp credentials in a private reply. So we can check it.
PS: Please do open up a new ticket if you have a different issue than the one discussed here. By keeping one topic per issue (as described in the title) the forum is easy to browse and find answers.
Best regards!

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
This is strange. You do not have any error in your site, but the blog page is not generating any data. Please perform the following steps:
-deactivate all third party plugins,
-Save a backup of theme files, in case you have made direct changes to them and update theme. Download the latest version from your Envato account.
Let us know if the issue persists.Best regards!

Hello,
Thank you for your advice. I have re-installed the theme and the blog now generates data. (which can be seen here: https://www.advent-im.co.uk/blog-timeline/ )
However, I’m now hoping to find out where I can customise the presentation so that it looks like the blog on your example (here: <span style=”color: #222222; font-family: Menlo, monospace; font-size: 11px; line-height: normal; white-space: pre-wrap;”>https://codeless.co/tower/default/blog-timeline/ ) At the moment, it is set to timeline, but it doesn’t look quite like the example. </span>
Also, is there a way to set a filter so that it only displays a specific ‘blog category’ by default?
Thanks once again!

Hello,
The current blog style you have is the ‘normal’ one. Are you sure you have set up the style at General Options > Blog Config? If yes, please make sure to have chosen the right blog page in General Options > Blog page too. And in Settings > Reading.
If you have not selected the blog page in these two locations, then what ever style is set up, it will not be applied to blog page.
Sorry but is not possible to set a filter to the default blog page. But, you can do it with another page. Just add “Full Blog” element or “Latest from Blog” element of Visual Composer and select a category to display.Best regards!

Hi Mihaila,
Thank you for your advice, I have managed to sort this. I have some other blog-related queries, but I will post them in new posts.
Thanks as always.
