I just rec’d an email from Evato Support that you released an update. Are there specific instructions on how to take the update, or do I need to completely re-install the new version of the theme, from scratch (obviously not preferred). Thanks.

Please read this documentation part about the theme update.
You have to replace the themes files and no settings will be lost.
