Hello,
I’m working on the home page of this site and the text overlay is not working on the featured images above the footer. The text shows up when I have it set to display below the image, but not the overlay. How do I fix that?
Also, There is a lot of white space between the menu and slider (no matter which slider plugin I use it’s there). How do I reduce the white space so it’s like the this demo site?
Thanks!

Thank you for the speedy reply. The CSS worked perfectly.
When I try to have images show up like the demo site (at the bottom with text overlay), the images aren’t loading at all. I adjusted one to show the text underneath the image and you can see it shows up (it reads Sample Two).
Also, the background color in the footer has stopped rendering. It’s supposed to be the blue color like behind the logo. I’ve tried changing the color and resaving it, but nothing seems to be working.
Finally, how do I get rid of the three lines next to the search button? They open another menu function that I do not need.
Thank you so much.

Hello,
-What element are you using? In the demo it is used the “Service Media” element with style “Title over Image”, not just a simple image.
-Add this code for the footer:
.footer_wrapper #copyright .container { margin-top: 0 !important; }
-Please go to General Options > Layout > Extra Side Navigation, set it OFF.
Best regards!

Fantastic, thank you.
Yes, I am using the service media with style title over image. I took a screen shot, which you can see here.
I appreciate your help.

Hello,
Please add this code into your custom cs sbox:
.services_media.style_2 h5 { z-index: 1; }
We will fix this in the next theme update.
Best regards!

Thanks! I inserted the code in the custom CSS are and saved the change. But it doesn’t seem to be rendering on the site itself. Thoughts?

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
I have tried this and it works very well. Maybe you have some other css that is preventing it from taking effect. Please send us your wp credentials in a private reply, so we can fix it for you.Best regards!
