I followed the youtube video on installing and activating the theme, once I complete Content, Options, Widgets and Menu successfully (at 4:19 of the video) I cannot see the dummy data. I don’t see them coming across.

If you are not able to finish successfully the data import, then you may not have sufficient memory limit. Please add this line:
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '196M');into your wp-config.php file. Or ask your host to do it for you, then try again.

Please contact your hosting provider and make sure you do have all necessary access right. The import process does finish successfully but the pages can not be created. Let us know.

The database name and password is not needed to be the same with the wordpress installation. Send us your ftp credentials in a private reply. We will give it a closer look.

Please try uninstall and reinstall WordPress. It could have corrupted files that are not letting theme scripts work properly.
It happen for wordpress files to get altered by some actions like installing external plugins.

Sorry for the late response.
I have added a new copy of theme files named “specular2” in the wp-content/themes folder. However it does not display in the Appearance > Themes section. Please take a look at the path where we have added it, screenshot. What is exactly the path of the wordpress installation you are using in your site?Best regards!

We are managing mulitple sites from within WordPress. You would need to select trimology and apply Specular2. For troubleshooting purposes I will re-do the installation and copy over Specular2. Then I will re-copy and apply and provide feedback.

I tried all of your selections, deleted WP and re-installed it and can’t get the demo pages to load. I am the admin of the site but can’t seem to load any pages. I have tried everything and anything. I will also be posting this topic in a general WP forum. Hope you can help. I have been trying to get it to work for a little over a month. I don’t plan on giving up.

This is very strange. Please try this for us:
Create a new, standalone wordpress installation (not part of multi-site) and install theme there. No other plugins, just the theme.
Make sure to have the latest theme version. It was recently updated. Then in file wp-config.php make sure to give it enough memory. Import demo data.

At this point all your suggestions failed. I will be uninstalling this theme. Its been frustrating to say the least. Thanks

I am still unable to load the dummy data into the theme. I have done it manually but its unavailable through the wordpress interface.

First, is your dummy installation fully completed? Have you seen the ‘Completed Dummy Data, Options etc…’ on 100% ?
Have you leave the backup option empty?
Please give me an empty version of WP and i will install it for you.

Problem was fixed!
Your Host doesn’t accept XML files to import. The dummy data files need to be archived as gzip.

In order for me to update and select a different theme like Portfolio 2 must I do the same. What I mean by the same is to gzip and then upload dummy data. The reason for the question is that we can select the theme go through the upload successfully but the new theme is not applied. Is this because the way we uploaded the dummy data originally. As an FYI we are not able to select any themes except for the one you orinally uploaded with the dummy data (<span style=”color: #393d40; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px;”>The dummy data files need to be archived as gzip.)</span>

The problem is with your host. Because it does not accept xml files, we were forced to follow another way of importing dummy data. If you want to change demo, then either you contact your host regarding it or archive the new demo as gzip and upload it.
Find all demo files in \includes\dummy_data\demos.Best regards!
