The shop page does not have many configurations. Make sure you have added the necessary widgets to woocommerce sidebar. And select the page header, centered style. If you want we can help you configure it. Just let us know some valid login data. You can send them as private reply.

To make the site run faster there are some things you could do. Like delete plugins you do not need; delete pages/posts already created by the dummy data import process but that you do not use. Optimize images, install a cache plugin..etc. Please read this article for more information.

I modified the shop page and now it is like the demo (product list and woocommerce widgets in the right sidebar). You just need to add more products (edit the current ones).

The new Woocommerce version included in theme package has removed the overlay feature and link in titles. This happened a couples of updates ago.
The rest is just as the demo. You only need to add more products, product tags and categories.

Can you please explain better what do you mean by “add entire template”? There isn’t any specific template for the shop page. The online page and your page have the same elements: the products (you should add more products for it to look like the demo, not just one product), the sidebar with woocommerce widgets (i already added the ones that are in the demo, screenshot) but “filter by price” will show up when you have more than just one price (because you have only one product so far).

So the only thing left to do is populate your shop with products, product tags and categories.
Please keep in mind that populating your site with data is not a support service.

I was able to go to basket from the cart icon in header and then proceed to checkout with no issue. What difficulties are you having with them?
