How to reduce size of top search bar opens when click on search icon in navigation in tower theme ?

You can change search width with custom css. Please add this code into your custom css box:
.search_bar input[type="text"] { font-size: 42px; height: 100%; width: 100%; line-height: 80px; color: #888; } .search_bar {width: 100% !important;}
Edit the values to your wish.

The above code has the height, width, font size, line height and font color attributes. You only need to change their values to your wish. To change the height, just edit the value of the height. Did you try it and not succeed? Let us know.

Add custom css in
.search_bar{ height:50px !important; }
.open_search .viewport { transform: translate3d(0, 50px, 0) !important; }
