I used the tool to create testimonials and I insert the “read more” tag. On my webpage we can read (suite…), how can I change the language of it? All the website is in English, I need to replace this word by (more…).
The theme is build in English. The “Read more” tag should also be in English. Did you translate your theme? Can i please see a link where is this running?
I didn’t translate anything, but I work on a french version of WordPress.

What element is it? How have you added the read more?
Some words are translated automatically in the language of you wordpress (the ones included in .po file). If you don;t want to translate them, then you must edit the the files to exclude that word. It doesn’t seem a theme word.

I have the same problem with all the visible dates on the website (for the news for example), I have this: On 7 juillet 2016, I need it to be in English.
Just edit the file wp-config.php in the WordPress directory. Replace: define('WPLANG', 'fr_FR');
by define('WPLANG', '');
You don’t need a .PO file as WordPress is written in English.
Just a precision: it will change the language of both the admin and frontend. The default .pot file can be found here: https://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/pot/trunk/wordpress.pot
