responsive issues with the "Recent Portfolio" boxes

  I am having an issue with the recent portfolio images not resizing for cell phones. It shows in my customize area that it works but when you actually look on a phone they are huge. Please help.

  You have a very old version of theme. Please update tower theme to its latest version 1.8.1. We have made many improvements since the 1.4 version, also the latest theme version is compatible with the latest WP version.
  Let us know if the issue persist even after theme update.

  I updated the theme to 1.8.1 and it still does that.

  The carousel feature or Recent Portfolio was preventing the images to be responsive in mobile device. I set it off. It’s ok now. Please check your site.
  
  We will investigate this further too, and include a fix in future updates.

  Thank you! One more thing, can you tell me why on all my pages there is a thick white line between the call to action and the footer? I can’t figure it out.
