When I go to edit page and try to add a simple element such as a ‘Separator with Text’ using the + button under the visual composer tab, the screen pops up and I can hover over the element, however when I click on the element icon it doesn’t do anything i.e. it won’t allow me to implement it?
Any idea why?
I’ve already deactivated and reinstalled the latest plug in that applies to this.
Have you updated theme and visual composer to its latest version? What version of visual composer do you have?

You have an old version of theme. Please update theme and visual composer to the latest versions (2.1 theme version and 4.12 visual composer version).
Let us know if the issue persists even after the update.
