Buddypress is a very popular plugin, but it appear that the “Add New” button on the …/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-groups page does not work with this theme (activating a WP basic theme works fine). It calls up the following page; https://your site dot com/groups/create/step/group-details/ properly, but this page does not display any of the Buddypress group creation input fields and instead is a default theme page with standard header and footer, but blank where the input data would typically appear.
Is there a way to modify the page.php or add a new .php template file that will fix this issue?

Hello,
Can you be more clear at what you are asking?
Buddypress is third party plugin and we do not offer support for those plugins. However i don’t see any problem with the dashboard page > plugins, when i try to install or activate this plugin, so its not a theme issue.Best regards!

Thanks for your assistance with this. More specifically:
When I activate this plugin on the Specular theme, then go to the “groups” tab on the admin dashboard and select it I get the “bp-groups” page with no groups listed (I haven’t been able to create any yet). At the top of this page, if I select the “Add New” button, I’m taken to a blank page that is consistent with the rest of the custom pages I’ve set up in Specular, but the body of the page is blank and it does not have any of fields other than the header and footer and no ability to add or edit a group. This is where the problem lies.
When I deactivate Specular, and then activate the default WP TwentyFifteen theme and go through the same steps, I get the same admin page, but when I select “Add New” on the groups page, I am then taken to a TwentyFifteen-themed default page that then provides a series of steps to add a group to the website.
If I create a group in while the TwentyFifteen theme is active and then reactivate the Specular theme, the group remains and is now visible on the WP-Admin dashboard “groups” page, but the ability to create any additional groups once again goes away. The plug in is active and works well with the Twenty Fifteen WP theme, but does not appear to work with Specular. I was just curious if there was a way to make a change to one of the Specular .php files that would speak to the plugin as does the WP theme. Any additional assistance would be a great help
Thank you!
