I’ve tried everything, but each portfolio item comes back with a massive header area above the actual content I want to show. I’d rather the header be around 80px, with nothing more than the title of the page to be included. Instead it’s 500px tall with the title inside of it, and all the content is dwarfed in comparison.
I’ve set it to 80px in portfolio settings and general settings, but for some reason when I publish, it’s still 500px.
Please check that you have enabled the “Overwrite the default page options” option in your portfolio entry General Settings > Page Header Options. Then set up the page header style you want for the item.

I tried that already, and it didn’t work. I ended up switching from the Minimal theme to the Micro theme, which works a lot better for my needs. Thanks for the tip!
