  Is it possible to add meta tags (especially description & keywords) to the pages ?

  You can add tags in sidebar as widget and select page layout with sidebar.

  @kennlucas, This is Specular theme forum. The reply is for this theme specifically, which it is very different from Handel theme.
  
  Handel theme is a SEO Optimized Theme. You can add meta tags to your posts and portfolio items. Add categories and tags. Also use the plugin WordPress SEO by Yoast, which is compatible with theme to add extra SEO support.
