I have created a side menu and want to highlight/show the active web page in a blue colour in the side menu.
You have kindly provided some code to achieve this but we are having problems:
When you click a top level menu item ie About us it does change the menu link active colour to blue but it also shows the 3 sub pages under about us in blue too.
We only want to show the active page a visitor is on in blue in the side menu – not the whole section of parent and child links,
As i said, the active page and the child pages under it, have the same css classes. Setting a style to the active page, it will affect the sub-items as well.
