I’m confused what the Specular export feature actually is for. I export all (content, theme options, widgets) and import the backup in my local installation. I don’t see any changes.
I read that for migrating an installation between servers, I can use plugins like “WP migrate DB”.
The export feature is primary to save a backup your current site’s situation. Also to export the settings of a certain installment and import them into another one.
We have tested it and it does not have any issue. Please clear cache and refresh yoru page. Sometimes it takes a while to reflect changes.
The “WP Migrate DB” plugin is recommended for server to server site transfers because it takes care of the url’s as well.
