Hi,
I transferred my site to a different server. All files are under my new site (a new server and domain name) now including the theme, uploads, and plug-ins.
When I activate the Tower theme, the entire site crashes. When I move it back to a default theme, it’s running again.
I tried raising the site’s memory limit but it didn’t help.
What can I do to have my site working with the Tower theme?
Thank you,
OKDesigns

My site works fine with the twentyseventeen theme.
As soon as I activate the Tower theme , the site crashes.
Thank you,

Hello,
The Twentyseventeen is a default wordpress theme. It is a very simple theme, it does not have the same scripts as our theme. Did you have such issue on your old server? if not this means theme does not have any fault. You must have left something undone while transferring or unfinished.
Please perform all steps described in the article suggested above. We need to know more information on this. What have you tried and in what phase is now the site transfer.
Stating just that theme crashes the current server is not enough.Let us know.
Regards and Merry Christmas!

I did try everything in the article.
I also tried upping my php max limit.
Are there any other suggestions you can give me to enable my site to fully transfer and work?
Regarding the phase of the site transfer: It seems that I should have finished transferring already since all uploads, themes, content etc. is already transferred. The theme isn’t activating now and that is where I’m having trouble.
Thank you for all your help until now!

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
I tried accessing the site but it gives “Internal Server Error“. Please check it with your host provider. Rename the theme and activate one of the wordpress default themes. Can you give us the exact path were you have this installation in server? I tried renaming a Tower theme in your ftp but it did not affect the site.Best regards!

Thank you.
This thread is regarding okdesigns.co which is working fine with a default WordPress theme.
Were you looking at okastor.com/okdesigns? That site does have an Internal Server Error. This site is expiring in a few days and I would like to have the okdesigns.co site up and running with the correct theme before that.
Thank you,

I decided to try the following:
I delete the Tower theme from the remote server of okdesigns.co.
Then I went into the back-end of <span style=”color: #1155cc;”>okdesigns.co</span> and uploaded the zipped Tower folder to try and re-install it from the beginning.
<div>As soon as I clicked “Install Now”, the site seemd to crash. I clicked the “back” arrow and it returned to normal.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Right now, there is no Tower theme on my remote server.</div>
<div></div>
<div>I would like to resolve this issue asap before my old domain expires (1/1/2017)</div>
<div></div>
<div>Thank you for your help!</div>

Hello,
I installed Tower theme and activated it. First i deactivated all plugins and then i proceed in installing and activating theme. I also updated the Visual Composer, but kept the latest version. You can find the old VC in wp-content/plugins/js_composer4.12.1 folder.
One of the third party plugins you had installed may be the cause of the crash. I suggest you activate all theme’s included plugins first. Then try one at a time the third party plugins. Until you find the one that had caused it.As for now you may continue your work normally.
Regards and happy holidays!

Thank you!!
It’s such a relief to have the theme running again.
I appreciate all of your support throughout this ordeal.
Just to clarify: The Visual Composer is already activated, right?
Thank you,
