How can I insert a video from my own WP library on a page? Do I have to necessarily to upload it on a platform like youtube?

Yes, you can add a video from your media. Just add the ‘media‘ element of Visual Composer and select the video in Media Settings > Select type of media (screenshot). Find the link in the Media > Library and add it. See screenshot. Let us know.

The options on your screenshot don’t appear to me. When I select video on the Media Settings box, there’s only 3 fields:
Video (no dropdown menu), Alignment and Animation.
Please make sure you have the latest theme version (1.9) and the latest Visual Composer plugin(5.0.1). It’s included in theme package. Let us know.
