Menu navigation from other pages

  How to make a menu navigation to the anchors of the home page from other pages? I tried to register something like that https://newmachine.ru/#contact instead of # in the settings of menu in the URL, which should lead me to the contact anchor . The transition happened, but when loading the site, when the page is on the header, menu item CONTACT does not work at all. The transition was from this page https://newmachine.ru/?page_id=1883. CONTACT is the right item of the menu.

  Hello,
  
  If you have set up full menu links, then make sure to remove the “One Page” layout. Go to the home page’s General Settings > Page Options & Style > Use menu as one page menu, set it OFF.

  So lost smooth scrolling and when you click on the menu item CONTACT, two menu items are active.

  I one page the links must be all section links. The “Главная” menu item points to a page, not a page id. Since you are currently in that page, then it will be active all the time (screenshot). Same with the “Contact“. I edited it to contain only the section id and now it is not active all the time.
  In One-page layout all links must be section id’s.
  The smoth scroll is a “one-page’ feature. If you uncheck the “USe as One page” option in page’s General Settings, then the feature is not available anymore.
  Sorry but it’s not possible to have all on-page features without activating the one-page layout.

  You only need to set it as One page. I checked the option in page’s General Settings > Page Options & Style > Use menu as one page menu. Now all links are active when you visit that section.

  Sorry but it’s not possible to have both structures in one site. The One page and the standard. To do this you’ll need to edit theme code to customize it. Custom editing is not covered from support service.
