I am working on a wordpress multisite on Tower, and want to use Recent News block (from Visual Composer) on all my main pages of different language versions. For ENG version it works perfect, but as for Russian – the excerpt is cut off in a wrong way meaning i can see these black diamonds with question mark inside <span style=”color: #444444; font-family: Roboto, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;”>�</span> instead of symbols at the end of the excerpt.
as i can understand this has something to do with the usage of cyrillic symbols and the function codeless_text_limit, but i need help making it work right.
What font family are you using? You must use a font family that supports the Cyrillic symbols. I can suggest you search the net to find out if the font you want supports it.
