I am using Specular, and I have created my menu (under Appearance > Menu). I am using a one-page template, so on my “Home” page, I checked the box allowing for a one-page site. On my menu, I selected “Specular Child Main Navigation”. I have also selected “Manage Locations” and tried to select my Menu (top) as the Specular Child Main Navigation here as well.
After trying all of these options, I have previewed my page, and my menu is not there. It has 2 Home tabs, but does not have my created menu.
I have also gone to Appearance > Customize, selected “Navigation”, and tried to select my menu (top) as the Specular Child Main Navigation here. This does update on the preview and I can see my navigation in the menu. However, when I then save, and go back to Pages > Home, and Preview the page, the menu is not there. It reverts back to the 2 “Home” tabs.
It seems like when I am selecting my navigation in all of these areas, it isn’t saving my selections. Is there something that I am missing or need to do to make the menu work?
For some reasons some hosts do not allow that. Maybe you don’t have sufficient memory or do not have permission on some files.
If you can give me your site credentials in a private reply, I can set the main navigation directly on file.
