Hello – hopefully this is a simple solution/setting I just haven’t found. I’m starting a blog on my existing website, and I’d love to use the Fullscreen Innovative Single Post option for single blog posts. However, I can’t get the main image (what shows before you scroll down) to look good – every image I select is highly zoomed in and pixilated. Are there separate specs for images to use for this purpose? Is there a setting I need to change somewhere that is messing with the image?
I haven’t posted the blog yet, because I would like to get this fixed first – but you can see the draft in my WP dash. I’ve also got a screenshot here: https://www.lavenderconnection.com/wp-admin/upload.php?item=4724
Thanks!
Rebecca
Hello,
What dimensions do your images have? You have to use images of high resolution and at least 1000px wide. Make sure to have set “Background Size” in post’s General Settings > Page header Options > Page header background to “Contain”. So it won’t stretch out the image beyond it’s proportions.
Please try again and let us know.
Best regards!
Mihaila – that was the problem. I had recently cropped all my images and made them low resolution in order to speed up my site. How high does the resolution need to be, to work with this feature? Would a resolution of 100 kb work?
Hello,
Yes, that should be ok. Try it out if the result is not satisfying to you then increase it further until you get the view you want.
Best regards!
