I noticed today that images that are displayed in the “Media Grid” element are no longer opening in a lightbox; they are opening in a new tab instead. How can I restore the original functionality where the images would open in a lightbox?
Yes, the media grid does still open images in a lightbox. I don’t see any media grid in your site. Can you send a screenshot of the section that has it?
There is no apparent issues in your site. What version of the theme do you have? I see you have a caching plugin enabled. Please disable all third party plugins first. Clear browser’s cache and refresh page.

I understand your issue. I checked it and you are right it does not work on your site but this is a limited case. I have tested it and this does not happen on our side. So the theme or it’s included plugins are not the culprit.
