Do you have any other plugin installed in your site? Please disable all plugins and try installing theme again.
Can you post your wp credentials in a private reply? So we can give this a closer look.
What did I change? The System status showed that there was too less WP memory limit, so I inserted
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );
in wp-settings.php
And then it didn't worked again.
I inserted the original file, but "System Status" still doesn't work.
Please update wordpress core files to a newly downloaded version, with no changes made to any of the files.
To increase the memory limit you have to add the line above to wp-config.php file in the wordpress root folder. Not wp-settings.php. Read this article for more detailed information: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php
Or just ask your host provider to do it for you.

Hi Mihaila, I have a similar issue with some setting in the system status. I asked to my hosting support team to check and edit the server info following the notes of your theme system status… They did everything but the messages are still there.
I have no problems, but if you go to the “System Status” page of the Folie Theme there are yellow lined messages that ask to increase memory limit, or memory upload… see the screenshots
The memory and other variables are only a recommendation. So if you can install the dummy data and theme works ok you dont have to worry about highlights in the System Status.
Hi Ruco, so you say they are only recommendations and not a “real” check of the server. Because my hosting company told me the server is just set as recommended in the highligts.
The question was only: “why if the server is set to follow the recommended highlights, the system status still show the recommendations?”
