Hi there,
I’d like to increase the codeless slider headings font size in mobile view.
I inserted this CSS to custom CSS box, but for some reason it doesn’t work (in Chrome inspect tool I can however change the font size with this CSS):
@media screen and (max-width: 480px) {
.codeless_slider .swiper-slide .content h1 {
font-size: 32px !important;
line-height: 32px !important;
}
}
Is there a way to adjust codeless slider font sizes in mobile? Thanks!

Hello,
You must delete or change the same lines at /css/bootstrap-responsive.css file (line 1361):
.codeless_slider .swiper-slide .content h1{ font-size:16px !important; line-height:26px !important; }
As there is used ‘!important’, the css code you added at the custom css box isn’t recognized.
Best regards!

Hello. I’ve been messing around with this workaround for a few hours and I’m having no luck. Working on a holding site at trinityrebar.com – when I do as instructed above, I do not get larger type in the mobile slider.

Hello,
Please add this code into your custom css box, to change the font size in mobile:
@media (max-width: 480px){ .codeless_slider .swiper-slide .content h1 { font-size: 26px !important; line-height: 36px !important; }}
Edit the values to your wish.
Best regards!

Hello Mihaila. I added the custom CSS you sent. Still is not working. Any thoughts on why not?

Hello,
Do you have other css added in the custom css box? Perhaps some enclosed bracket can make it not take effect. Please add some valid wp credentials in your profile (This topic has a different author so if you send in a private reply here, the data will be visible to the author).

I have added my wp credentials to my profile. Please take a look and let me know what you think about the custom css.

Hello,
The code is pasted correctly and there are no errors or warnings. There is another chunk of code that is taking priority and not letting the custom css have effect. Please go to file css/bootstrap-responsive.css using a ftp account or your cpanel, and find these lines:
.codeless_slider .swiper-slide .content h1{ font-size:18px !important; line-height:26px !important; }
Remove the !important from them and save changes.
Best regards!

That fixed it! Thank you so much. It might be a good idea to note this up front to new customers. The h1 text on mobile, is just way too small…at least for my liking. Pointing this out will save everyone a lot of time in the future.
Cheers,
Mark
