Dear Mihaila,
Thank you for your help – it has helped me understand the Specular theme much better and use it to better effect.
I am having one more problem – the page header is not showing up on my blog posts.
I have ‘active page header’ turned on in the theme general settings (screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hzbulf41k4w1yeu/Screenshot%202017-08-15%2017.31.51.png?dl=0)
The page header is showing on my pages. (screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vs26k8qknfzafog/Screenshot%202017-08-15%2017.32.17.png?dl=0) (page link: https://www.staging.judieharvey.com/editorial-services/)
I have ‘Overwrite the default page options’ turned off in the page header options for the post (screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dv6mqhoc0w7cyb7/Screenshot%202017-08-15%2017.32.55.png?dl=0)
However, the page header is not showing up on my posts (screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5e6my54epxvwp1/Screenshot%202017-08-15%2017.35.10.png?dl=0) To be sure it was not a caching problem, I opened the page in a different browser, but the same problem shows up there, too. (Page link: https://www.staging.judieharvey.com/fees/)
I would appreciate any advice you can give me as to how to fix this problem. I realize I may be missing something obvious – I am fairly new at WordPress and self-taught, and I have learned an awful lot in the past few days – my disk may be full! ;-) I hope I have provided all the information you need. If not, please let me know and I will send it ASAP.
Thank you kindly,
Eileen

Hello,
You are not doing anything wrong. By default post’s can only have the Fullscreen Innovative Single Post page header style (https://codeless.co/specular/default/?p=451), to set it on, go to the post’s options > Blog Options > Active Fullscreen Innovative Single Post and set it ON. See screenshot of the option: https://postimg.org/image/kwav4hpuh/
Or have the centered page header style, if it’s set up in General Options > Default Page Header > Page header style.
Let us know if you need further help.
Best regards!
