Hi,
I just installed handel theme on this site: misanoimmobiliare.it
Then I imported demo content and tried to set the right page as default page.
But the site is completely blank.
I would like also to import this demo theme: https://codeless.co/handel/it-services/
but it is not present among the demo templates to import.Could you please check?

Ok the demo tmeplate looks fine.
But I do not understand how to customize the theme.1) I installed visual composer. But do I need it?
2) In the home page I would remove the default slider and insert a layer slider I created, but how do I make this? How can I insert a layer slider?
3) If I try to enter a page, for example the home page, to modify it I see 2 buttons:
“Simple page customize” and “Customize page and options”.
I suppose I have to click on “Simple page customize” to customize the home. So by clicking it I enter in a frontpage customizer. But if I click on the pencil icon to modify an element nothing happens.
And then I do not see anyway to save the changes…Pleas give me some suggestions…

Hello Mihaila,
finally I understood how to proceed.
I found that probably a “Coming soon page” plugin blocked the front page customizer and didn’t let me make real time changes.
So I just switched off the maintainence mode of the site and now the codeless customizer it seem working fine.Then I watched this tutorial of yours: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW3DvWEsm3M
and I am becoming familiar with this nice tool.So I succeded in placing a layer slider in place of codeless slider (which I removed)
Now, please give me suggestions about:
– do I need visual composer? or can I switch it off?
– Even if I placed a layer slider in home page it seems that a part of this slider (probably the first 50 or 100 pixels at the top of the slider) are cut from the header.
The slider is 500 pixel height.It seems as the row containing the layer slider should go some pixels down but I didn’t find how.
Could you please check?

Hello,
1-Visual Composer is optional. If you feel more familiar and comfortable with it, you have the choice to use it instead of Codeless Builder.
We recommend the use of Codeless Builder because the entire theme is build on it. Also because it’s a builder created from theme developers, it won’t ever be out of date. Which means you won’t ever need an urgent plugin update to keep working on your site. This happens with other authors plugins included in our (or every other) theme because the release time of an included plugin’s update may not coincide with theme’s update.2-The top pixels of your slider i added this custom code into your General > Custom codes > Custom CSS, to edit it out:
div#layerslider_2 { margin-top: 90px !important; }You can change the value to your wish. Let us know.
