1. How can we reduce the white pace between text blocks? see this page https://www.foodforthepoor.ca/build-a-village
We created a new portfolio category for the new page: BUILD A VILLAGE we added a new portfolio item: Building Homes & Hope in Haiti, but when we tag it with BUILD A VILLAGE it doesn’t show on that page
Portfolio items – how do we increase the number of projects seen on a particular page? For instance, the FOOD page currently only shows 2 projects. We would like to increase it to 3 or 4.
Projects – there are too visible sections on the projects page: Project description and Project details that are not visible in edit mode. All the text goes under project description.
Example: https://www.foodforthepoor.ca/archives/codeless_portfolio/school-furniture-for-schools-in-jamaicaWhere is the custom embedded page link for emergency response?

Hello,
1-Can you please be more specific? Do you want to reduce the distance between title and text? or each block containing title-text-image?
For either, you can set up margin top using custom css:.wpb_text_column p:first-child { margin-top: -22px !important; }
Screenshot: https://postimg.org/image/wahnm2at1/
Or add margin-top from the column’s options for the second scenario.2-The ‘Build a Village’ is a normal page. Not a portfolio page. All portfolio categories will display the portfolio items under that category only if this category is set up in a portfolio page.
3-Go to “Recent Portfolio” settings (the element you are using to display the latest projects) and change the “Block Size” from 1/2 to more.
4-The “Project Details” are added under “Single Portfolio Options > Custom Fields” (screenshot). But you have not added any custom field at all.
Watch this video tutorial for a live preview on how to set up portfolio and portfolio single items:

Can you please be more specific on this: Where is the custom embedded page link for emergency response?
What are you referring to?Regards!

1. We put in the custom css but it’s not decreasing the spaces between each block containing title-text-image. Please let us know how to increase or decrease the spacing.
2. Here is an example of a normal page with projects listed at the bottom. These were created in portfolio and then tagged to be on this page. https://www.foodforthepoor.ca/what-we-do/education
Why isn’t the portfolio story that is tagged for build a village not showing on the build a village page?
3. Where do we find recent portfolio settings?
4. Please see example, where it says project details at the bottom of the page. https://www.foodforthepoor.ca/archives/codeless_portfolio/school-furniture-for-schools-in-Jamaica
We don’t know where this is coming from or how to delete it and we looked at custom fields but don’t see anything.
Thank you!

One additional question around headings.
We set our main heading font colour in styling options, but it doesn’t update the heading colour on existing pages.
Thank you!

Hello,
1-I see you have added the css i gave you but the value is not -22px, but 0. This practically is useless as it does not cahnge on the title-text difference. I added this other code:
.block_title.column_title { margin-bottom: 0 !important; }
This is the result: https://postimg.org/image/yi7okjunb/ This would be the result even with the previous css, but the margin-top had to be -22px.
2-This page: https://www.foodforthepoor.ca/what-we-do/education has a “Recent Portfolio” element in it. Add the same element in “Build a Village” page. Right now, it is not added.
3-Open the “Recent Portfolio” element settings by clicking on the element pencil icon. See screenshot: https://postimg.org/image/j0k6gb60n/
4-The video tutorial in my last reply explains this very well: https://youtu.be/AYTADwEdM_w
Add more custom fields in General Options > Portfolio Config: https://postimg.org/image/f46uknsuf/
The fields set up here, will show up in each portfolio item’s Single Portfolio Fields > Custom Fields: https://postimg.org/image/5m73kbhd3/
Result: https://postimg.org/image/4jwx26j8n/5-Which title did you change the color to? Where did you change it? If your site’s having troubles saving changes, i suggest you perform a database tables optimization. Ask your host regarding it.
Best regards!

Thank you for your continued support on these matters. I have now figured out #2 and 3 with your support. Unfortunately #1 and 4 are still a problem.
#1 – I want to reduce the white space between the photos, so that the corners of the photos are almost touching. I tried one and both of the css but it doesn’t change the space.
#4 – I went to portfolio config and removed the fields but when I view the page and click on the portfolio story it’s still showing the heading project details. How do I remove this heading since I have no fields/information below it?
#5 – I want all my title headings to be in our brand blue colour, as are the subheadings within the text blocks. When I select the title heading block to edit there is no where to change the colour. It appears to be automatically set to a specific colour to ensure all headings are the same. Is there a general place to set this heading colour so it automatically applies to all existing and new headings?
Thank you so much for your assistance,
Terri

Hello,
1-Hmm i think i misunderstood your point. The css i gave you, like you can see in the screenshot, reduces the distance between the title and text. To reduce the distance between images, add this code:
.wpb_row.standard_section { margin-bottom: 10px !important; }
Add this code into the page’s custom css box, if you want it to affect only one page.
Result screenshot: https://postimg.org/image/3pxujdih3/4-To remove only the “Project Details” title, add this code:
.portfolio_single .span3 h4 { display: none; }
Result: https://postimg.org/image/nkjw5o5g7/
5-Yes, there is. Please go to Tower > Styling Options > Headings Font Color. Screenshot: https://postimg.org/image/f2ag1ieev/
Let us know.

Hi,
Thank you so much for your help, as I’ve now reduced the white space between the pictures.
Where do I add the code for the project details?
For the final question, I had already gone into styling options and set the colour I wanted. However, it didn’t automatically change all the headings that already existed and when I open each heading box there is no where for me to adjust the colour.
Thanks,
-
Hello,
-Every custom css should be added into your Custom Css box in General Options.
-Can you send me a link of a page where this changes has no been taking effect?
Thanks!
-
Hello,
The Custom Css is located in General Options (screenshot). It’s independent from portfolio entries.
Just make sure you have set the same color in the Styling Options. The default theme color is not blue, so if the option did not work, you wouldn’t see the blue color at all.
Best regards!

Great, thank you. I think things are more or less working now.
