My website is suddenly starting to show a white gap above the header, which appears to have dropped about halfway down the page and is now sitting on top of the content. Can someone advise on a quick fix here?
Additional question – is there any way to remove the black overlay on blog featured images?
1. To remove the gap above your header please go to Customize > Header > Main Header Row and make sure that the values of margin or padding are set to 0.

2. Yes, you can remove the black overlay on blog featured images by going to your Blog page and click Customize. Once opened page settings scroll down and set Blog Overlay Style to None. See screenshot: https://ibb.co/dufm0J
Thanks – the margins are set to 0 and the overlay style is set to “None”, however there’s still a white space above the header and a black overlay on the blog featured image.
I turned off sticky on Customize > Header > Sticky and the white space is gone. I have informed the developers and will investigate further regarding the real cause of why did this happen. We will include the possible fixes in future theme updates. Let us know for anything else.
