Custom Code Problem

      Is there anything wrong with the custom code element? Every time I insert a custom code, I can see the changes made on the customize page. But as soon as I check the live site, the element is not showing and then when I try to edit it, the custom code is blank again.

      Did you save the changes in the page before checking the live site?  – Well of course. I always save the changes before checking the live site. The code I’m trying to use is the code form code from our Agile CRM account.

      Okay I did the update through the Envato plugin but now the site’s messed up after updating. :( I just see a bunch of codes.

      Hi,

      After the update, seems like custom code element is not working properly. After inserting the code, the option to put the code doesn’t show up. Even when clicking the element again.

      I’m confused. You only have one custom code element right? I’m referring to it as a whole. When I’m inserting the element (not yet adding a code), the settings on the left hand side is not showing. So I can’t insert any code. Here is a video where I replicate the issue.

      Hello,

      We are sorry there is an issue with the code. There are two possibility to fix this issue:

      1. Send to us your ftp credentials so we can update the files to fix this element (in private reply)

      2. Waiting for the next update of the Handel.

      Hello,

      If you are experiencing difficulties saving changes in your wordpress site, then you have to check your wp installation and database. This is mostly a server issue.
      Please check with your host provider that you have all necessary rights to make changes to theme files / database and enough memory available. Also performing a database repair operation can help.
      If the issue persists, disable all third party plugins, clear cache and cookies and try again.

      Already tried disabling all third party plugins, clearing cache and cookies. Please let me know if you can save the changes on wp to solve this issue. Really need to have the custom code working.

      Is impossible to access your ftp i have tested with any way possible. I think there is something wrong with the port number or protocol.

      The best choice is to wait our new update that will comes in the next days with this issue fixed.

      Okay, even after the update, the code (which was the main issue I created this topic before) still is not showing.  What we are trying to do is embed the Agile Forms inside the website through the custom code. As you can see in this video,  on the codeless builder, the form appears after inserting it. But once published, it doesn’t show on production.

      Was this ever addressed or is there a fix?  I am having what I believe is the same problem with the “custom code” element.

      On Handel, instead of putting the custom code between [cl_custom_code] and [/cl_custom_code], like it does on Folie, it does it as [cl_custom_code code=”heres where it puts your code”]

      The problem is this doesn’t allow you to put any actual code in… when you publish it gets ride of any brackets (so you cant do shortcodes) and any less-than and greater-than signs, so you cant do any actual code.
