When I choose a modern style heading, the css property for top is set to 30px. This causes the lines on the sides of the header to not connect to the top of the page, and also creates an offset in the semi-transparent background where the user can see through the header when they scroll down.

If I manually change the top css property to 0, the menu displays properly. I think you need to fix this in your CSS and have it be dependent on the header style chosen.
Hello,
You can set here the sticky menu https://www.clipular.com/c/4844990259789824.png?k=5KjRQI7Lt0iONDbDwxrDWIl33Bw
Also you can select the menu bg color and transparency.
Best regards!
Using the sticky menu and then eliminating my CSS worked fine. Thank you very much.
