How to customize pages and upload banner images

  Hello everyone,
  
  I downloaded the folie WordPress theme and while I’m quite new to blogging and website design I have exhausted all means to resolve some issues I’m having uploading image banners and customising pages using html and css.
  
  I tried uploading a Google app store image on the landing page as a download button and I tried using custom html and css code to create a container to place the Google play image and iOS app store image side by side to no avail. How do I customize a particular page on folie WordPress theme ?
  
  I tried uploading an image banner on the pages but it’s not properly aligned.
  
  Any suggestions and help would go a long way and highly appreciated.
