I want to change the click of portfolio cards to a custom modal. How do i do so ? By default it goes to a separate page, showing description and image… I want to remove that and add a class, using which it will open a modal.

The theme have this type of portfolio by default : https://codeless.co/specular/portfolio3/
Add the Recent Portfolio element and select the Basic Type portfolio.
In case you want to remove the the another link button you have to edit the file:
themes\specular\includes\view\portfolio\loop-grid.php
You have to remove this line:
<a href="<?php echo $link ?>" class="link a1" data-animate="fadeInLeft"><i class="moon-link-4"></i></a></a>

Another way is to add this line into Specular > Custom Css Box
.portfolio-item.basic .link.a1{ display:none; }
