I just bought the theme and I installed it following all the steps. I selected during the installation that I wanted the “Photography” style, but I see that it has not been applied and I find the way.
If the import is finished successfully, you only need some little configuration. Please assign the homepage first. You can set it up in Settings > Reading, or Specular > General > Select Homepage.
If you still need help after this, add some wp credentials in your profile data. So i can check it closely.

You had set as home page a sample page, not the ‘Home’ page. Also there were no pages imported at all. I imported the demo you wanted and assigned the home page in Specular > General Options. Please check your site.
You can continue adding the featured images to the portfolio items. As well as editing the text and content.
