      How do I change the background color in the sidebar sections?

      Hello,

      There is no default option for this. You have to use custom css to change the background. Add the code into your Custom Css box in General Options.

      Best regards!

      Hello,

      Sorry but this personal customization and it’s not included in support.
      PS: If you need more support, consider buying more support time. Go to theme’s profile in Themeforest to extend support time.

      Best regards!

      Hello,

      Great! Let us know if you have any question.

      -If you are referring to the support status here, do not worry. This is due to an internal server issue. We will update then as soon as we can. However, you will get the support time you paid for.

      Best regards!

      Well I was still wondering if you knew where to put the code for changing the background of the side bar for pages. I put code in the custom css box and nothing happened.
      <p style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-family: Raleway; font-size: 14px;”>#sidebar .widget {
      background: #f5f8fa;
      margin-bottom: 20px;
      padding: 25px;
      position: relative;}</p>
      <p style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-family: Raleway; font-size: 14px;”></p>
      <p style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-family: Raleway; font-size: 14px;”>Also, how do you make the codeless slider have a side column like the template?</p>

      Hello,

      All custom css should be placed in Custom Css box in General Options. If you are not seeing any changes, that means: the code is not correct (not targeting the elements you want), or that some other css is taking priority. Fix this by adding !important tot he attributes.
      Like this:

      #sidebar .widget {
          background: #f5f8fa !important;
          margin-bottom: 20px !important;
          padding: 25px !important;
          position: relative !important;

      }

      -Can you please paste a link of the template where the Codeless Slider referred is?

      Best regards!

      Hello,

      The slider used in the Magazine demo is “News Slider”, not Codeless Slider. I selected it in a sample page of yours. Check it here: https://testbbq.com/wp/sample-page/

      To change the slider or selected posts, go to page’s General Settings > Slider Options. Edit the slider here. Screenshot: https://postimg.cc/XrYmc6Zc

      Best regards!

      Thank you for the News Slider answer sorry for missing that… I know I keep asking this but I added the code:

      #sidebar .widget {
      background: #c3c2c7 !important;
      margin-bottom: 20px !important;
      padding: 25px !important;
      position: relative !important;

      }

      But again nothing happened to the side bar…..

      Hello,

      Set this css class instead of the current: aside#widgetarea-sidebar
      Result code:

      aside#widgetarea-sidebar {
          background: #c3c2c7 !important;
          margin-bottom: 20px !important;
          padding: 25px !important;
          position: relative !important;
      }

      That worked! Thank you SO much!

      I have one more thing I am dealing with… When I use the widget sidebar, then the popular posts, the actual blogs show up at the bottom of the page.. Is there a way to prevent this??

      Hello,

      You have to go to Appearances > Widget > Footer Widget Area. There you can remove the footer widgets.

      Best Regards!

      I don’t have any footer widgets activated.

      I just want the popular post list on the sidebar and not show the actual popular posts at the bottom of my page.

      Hello,

      I see the posts in footer are showing good. (screenshot). This is a correct form of displaying the posts in footer. What do you want to change here?

      Let us know
      Best regards!
