The latest theme update have nothing to do with the meta description that is generated by Yoast Plugin and not by the theme.

I have seen the error was caused mainly by this function: “redirect_404_send_mail” that isn’t part of our theme. I think this is caused by some other plugin.
Stay sure that the error are generated on the server side so there is no way that google can track that.
Please disable any third plugin and check it again,
