Page Editor Not Working

  I have a big concern as to why I cannot edit the home page on the Handle theme. I also cannot add any new pages?
  
  I am trying to add in a counter bar plugin, and I can’t make a new row and add a plugin on the home page. It just seems like its not customizable at all. I then attempted to put in WPBakery to assist with this – but this also doesnt work.
  
  Am I doing something wrong? The simple page editor seems like its not usable.

  Have you installed the latest version of the theme?
  
  Also have you tried to use Codeless Builder instead of the Visual Composer ?
