I went into the WordPress dashboard to make a couple updates and while there I updated some plugins. The site crashed after updating 3 of the 4 plugins and now only loads a white page, effectively killing the site. ???

First, go to wp-content/plugins folder in your server and rename all plugins. Use a ftp account or cpanel. So the site will get back online and you will be able to login to wordpress dashboard again.
Second, which plugins did you update? Are they all included in theme or are third party plugins?
As for the included plugins, we recommend to only update with the versions included. We make sure to have them checked and fully compatible with theme so issues such as this does not happen.
