centered logo and navigation menu in specular theme

#specularmenuMinimal

      Hi,

      I’m using the Specular theme ‘Minimal’ and have a couple of questions:

      1) When I scroll down the page the sticky menu becomes just the logo. I want to change this so the logo disappears and just the menu bar stays sticky (and transparent).

      2) I’m using the codeless slider which sits underneath the menu and logo. How do I make it so the slider runs to the top of the page with the logo and menu on top of it with transparent background?

      Many thanks for your help.

      Adam

      Hello,

      1-This is the sticky header style of the type of header you have selected. You can either change header style in theme options or change the sticky header style using custom css. Please know that personal customizations are not included in support.

      2-Select transparent header in General options > Header Options > Make Transparency Header, set it On. This option is visible only when header style is simple. On other cases set Background, set it to completely transparent.

      Let us know.
      Best regards!

      Hi,

      Thanks very much for your response. Do you have any suggestions as to where I could find the css for the custom changes?

      Re point 2 – I’ve set the background to transparent, but it makes no difference – the logo and menu bar still have a white background and the slider sits below. Any ideas?

      Many thanks,
      Adam

      Hello,

      1-You need a bit of css knowledge. Check the css class of header using Inspect element of your browser. if you are using Chrome, open Inspect element by pressing F12 keyboard.

      2-Please add a link to your site and some wp credentials iin a private reply. So i can check closely.

      Best regards!

      Hello,

      1-Please write an email here: [email protected] to request a quote.
      2-The transparent header with slider under it is a style of simple header. So to get the same look for the type of header you have selected, i added this css in your General Options > Custom Css box:

      .header_10.header_wrapper, .header_10 .full_nav_menu{
          background-color: #00000000 !important;
      }
      .top_wrapper {
          margin-top: -200px !important;
      }
      .slider#slider-fullwidth {
          margin-top: 0px !important;
          z-index: 99999;
          position: absolute !important;
      }

      The css here is stored in the database and not lost when theme is updated.

      3-Where is this section? I can not find any “Latest work” section in any of the pages.

      Let us know.

      Best regards!

      Hi,

      That’s great, thank you for looking at this – that’s the effect I’m after. I’ll send a separate email re the quote.

      3- If you go to the home page in WordPress (under pages>home) the first section is ‘Latest Work’ but strangely it’s not displaying on the site?? Has the CSS code interfered with this I wonder?

      Many thanks,
      Adam

      Hello,

      Yes, apparently it was. I added this css too,

      #content {
          padding-top: 54% !important;
      }

      It’s ok now.
      The second button has different style by default. So i added this css to make them both same style:

      /*second button styling*/
      .wpb_content_element.button.buttons_two a:nth-child(2) {
          background: rgba(180,162,140, 0.83) !important;
          color: #fff !important;
          border-color: rgba(180,162,140, 0.00) !important;
          font-size: 13px !important;
      }

      Best regards!

      Hi,

      Sorry to bother you once again. Until I can pay for the extra coding on the centered headline, I’ve reverted to the simple headline style so I can demonstrate the site for the person I’m doing it for.

      One small problem – it’s fine on load and then I scroll down and the logo and menu becomes sticky – all good. But when I scroll right back to the top the menu bar disappears (logo is okay). This only seems to happen on the homepage.

      Any clues?

      Many thanks,
      Adam

      Hello,

      I fixed the issue with the sticky header now its look ok.

      You have only to change the option on the slide: Codeless Slider > Slides> Mallorca Home
      Go to Layout > Menu & Slider Navigation Color > Dark and now is ok.

      Let us know.

      Regards!
